I am a science, technology and design aficionado and am passionate about advancing scientific and technical literacy through interactive, gameful and visual media.
I have a Bachelor's degree in Ocean Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras and a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. At MIT, I collaborated with an interdisciplinary team of researchers to computationally design materials that mechanically behave like biological tissues. In December 2017, I graduated with a Master's in Digital Media at Northeastern University, where I learnt Web Development, Interactive Design, 3D Animation and Game Design.
I currently work as a Developer and Designer at the Interactive Narrative and Knowledge Design Lab (inkDlab), a Northeastern University venture dedicated to developing next-generation tools for creating intuitive, playful, and engaging experiences for online learning. At inkDlab, I have been the lead programmer on several of the lab's flagship products, which are aimed at empowering educators to create interactive challenge-based learning modules without requiring technical and design expertise.
